When we made the decision to sell back in February, we interviewed quite a few agents. Shelly was not the first one we reached out, but she made sure she was the first one we interviewed (even while on her vacation). You set a high standard that no one else was able to reach. I was worried you weren’t going to live up to the promises, but you did. You delivered, earned our trust along the way and allowed me to let go of the process - not something I readily do.
I also must say, I’ve been very skeptical of the traditional real estate commission model (ie make double the commission for doing essentially same work as a house that just costs less). I believe the model is transitioning because not all agents perform like your team does. However, you all earned your commission (prep work, move-out, pricing aggressively, marketing, managing finicky buyers, sellers in Singapore, etc.) I have no regrets paying you what you earned. You set the standard for what high-end agents are supposed to be. (I hope this is coming across as a big compliment because that’s the intent.)
